1.2 Draft Order

The draft order will be randomly selected by the commissioner. The method in which the order is selected is up to his determination.

1.3 Keepers

Before each season you will have the option to retain 1 player from your previous season’s roster. The keeper deadline will be one week prior to draft night. The commissioner will publicly submit his keeper first to avoid any advantage.

        1. Keeper can only be owned for 3 years total (Year drafted or traded for or picked up + 1st keeper year + 2nd keeper year). After those three seasons, the player will return to the draft pool.

        2. Keeper must have been initially drafted in the 3rd round or later (or picked up off waivers)

        3. The keeper will take the place of one of your draft picks

          • If drafted, the keeper will cost you your draft pick two rounds earlier than when they were drafted

Alvin Kamara (2017 15th Round Pick) would become your 2018 13th round pick.
          • If picked up off waivers, the keeper will cost you your 9th round pick

Josh Gordon (2017 undrafted waiver pick) would become your 2018 9th round pick.
          • If a player is drafted, then dropped, then picked up again (or drafted and traded), the original draft round still counts

Aaron Rodgers (2017 3rd Round Pick but then dropped and picked up later), he would become your 2018 1st round pick.
        1. Players with season-ending injuries cannot be picked up and kept

Dalvin Cook (2017 2nd Round Pick) was dropped after his torn ACL. You would not be able to add him later in the year and keep him for a 2018 9th Round Pick. If you draft and keep them on your team all year while injured, you can keep them the following year following the normal two round earlier rule, but Dalvin Cook would still not be able to be kept because he was a 2nd Round Pick.
          • Season ending injury will be defined as if the player does not appear in a game for the rest of the FANTASY FOOTBALL SEASON (Week 17). If a player comes back for Week 18 or the NFL playoffs, the injury would still be considered season-ending

          • A player with a season ending injury can only be kept by the team who had him at the point of his injury. He can be kept if he remains on the team's roster (you can use the IR spot) for the remainder of the season.

1.4 Trading

Owners will have the option to exchange players following the draft and before the trade deadline.

1.3.1 Trade Review

All trades will be reviewed by the commissioner to make sure no foul play is occurring. If any owners are suspected of accepting bribes/offering bribes/colluding to enhance their/another owners team via trade, the trade will be reversed.

1.3.2 Trade Deadline

The last day to make trades will be the Saturday following Week 10.

1.3.3 Trade Restrictions

Only players can be traded. Draft picks, keeper options, and FAB $ are all off-limits.

1.3.4 Veto/Trade Process

The commissioner will review each trade voting to pass or deny.

1.5 Waiver Wire

Waivers will be determined by Free Agent Bidding (FAB).

1.5.1 FAB Process

Each owner will begin the season with $100. Offers are blind, so other managers can't see what your offer is. Your offer can range from $0 to the remainder of your budget. Highest offer at the end of the waiver period (Tuesday nights) signs the player. Offer amount is deducted from the manager's budget that signs the player. Ties are broken by Continual Rolling List waiver priority.

1.5.2 Situational waiver tips and options

Since other managers can make waiver claims on players you want, you can increase your chances by making multiple claims to add or drop players.

Example 1:

Waiver Claim 1 - Add Player C, drop Player A

Waiver Claim 2 - Add Player D, drop Player A

Waiver Claim 3 - Add Player D, drop Player B

If Waiver Claim 1 is successful, Waiver Claim 2 is voided because you no longer own Player A, but you still have a chance to get Player D because of Waiver Claim 3.

Example 2:

Waiver Claim 1 - Add Player B, drop Player A

Waiver Claim 2 - Add Player C, drop Player A

Waiver Claim 3 - Add Player D, drop Player A

This way, even if someone else signs Player B or C, you can still drop Player A for Player D.

1.6 Scoring System

Look it up.

1.7 Schedule

Each team will play a 14 week regular season. The schedule is chosen randomly by Yahoo. The playoffs will take place in weeks 15-17.

1.8 Playoff Seeding

At the end of the season, the 6 teams with the best records will make the playoffs. Points scored is the tiebreaker. The 2 teams that finish with the best overall records will receive a bye week in the first round of the playoffs. Each playoff matchup will only last one week and the winner will advance. There will be no reseeding during the playoffs.

1.9 Playoff Tiebreakers

If two teams tie in the playoffs, the higher seeded team will advance.

Section 2: Owner Rules

2.1 League Fee

The owner is expected to pay the $150 league fee to the commissioner by the draft or they will be subject to losing ownership of their team.

2.2 Voting

New rules and regulations may be brought to the attention of owners during the offseason and must receive a majority vote to be approved. Split votes will not pass.

2.3 Prizes

1st Place after playoffs $ 800 and the Drunken Trout Trophy

2nd Place after playoffs: $ 400

3rd Place after playoffs: $ 200

Most Regular Season Points: $ 200

Survivor: $ 150

Progressive Prize: $ 650 (2022)

Variable by year, increases by $100 each year until won(Most Regular Season Points + Regular Season Champ + League Champ)

2.3.1 Triple Crown / League Clout

The Triple Crown is defined as Most Regular Season Points AND Regular Season Champion AND League Champion. Progressive Prize increases $100 until won. If the Progressive Prize ever grows to be $1000 or more and no Triple Crown Winner is crowned following the season, the League Clout Leader will take home the bag.

2.4 Last Place Punishment

The owner that finishes in last place after the consolation playoff bracket will be fined $50 for sucking. This fee is added to the Triple Crown Prize

2.5 Don't be an Asshole

This is a blanket rule that can be referenced by the commissioner at his discretion. Punishment will likely just be reversing the dastardly deed, but the commissioner reserves the right to take more drastic action up to and including a physical spanking.

Possible asshole behavior that has since been outlawed by the constitution include:

  1. Two owners bench all their players so that they will tie and make the playoffs: ASSHOLE

  2. One owner benches all his players so that he will get a different playoff seed: ASSHOLE
